"Thank you Nandaketu! Yes indeed, the pictures are from Nepal - well-spotted :). I think the prayer flags were taken in Manali or Dharamsala though. Hope you are keeping well and warm."

Any people looking to house share?

Hi all,I'm wondering if there are people in the Sangha who are looking to house share, or even to look into setting up a community, as I may be looking for a place quite soon and it would be ideal to live with Buddhists. If you are interested, or may know people who may be, please feel free to get in contact either via sangha.net or at jilnashah87@gmail.com. I'm away on retreat from 17th pm-24th, but till have internet access after that. Thanks xSee More

The Guest House - Rumi

The Guest House This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. He may be clearing you out for some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever…See More

the flower itself is obviously beautiful and the changing focus and blending with the background make it a really lovely picture. I also like the other pictures you put up. The flower reminds me of having one in my hand recently at Vajrasana.
