Acoustic-Electric Explorations - a Vajrasana Benefit Concert

There was a great concert at the London Buddhist Arts Centre on Saturday night, in aid of the fundraising appeal for Vajrasana retreat centre. I've just uploaded some photos - see below. The artists featured in the concert were: James Alaska and Tom Mudd on 'Electronics' and Andy Cobb on solo grand piano. James, who is a mitra at the LBC, creates intricate and subtle textural noise by abstracting and obfuscating fragments from discarded vinyl, tape and field recordings. Andy, who is also…See More
